As part of ongoing efforts to strengthen regional cooperation in football, the 2025 ASEAN-Korea Football Interpersonal Exchange and Leadership Development Programme (FIELD) Programme Conference was held from 22 to 26 September 2025 in Korea.

The conference brought together technical coaches and administrators from all 10 ASEAN Member States’ national football associations to exchange knowledge, share key insights from the FIELD Programme, and discuss strategies for promoting ASEAN-Korea collaboration in football and strategic advancement of football in ASEAN.

Participants explored Korea’s football development model, including the “Made in Korea (M.I.K)” football philosophy and best practices from the K-League, offering practical perspectives to inform strategies tailored to each member states’ context. The conference also featured dedicated sessions for technical and administrative experts, followed by an integrated discussion, and a field visit to the National Football Center in Cheonan.

The ASEAN-Korea FIELD Programme Conference reaffirmed the shared commitment of ASEAN and Korea to build capacity, enhance knowledge exchange, and support the long-term development of football across the region.

The FIELD Programme is implemented by the Korea Football Association (KFA) Love Sharing Foundation and Sangmyung University.
