The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam is the central government institution responsible for the State management functions in terms of foreign affairs. The ASEAN Department (ASEAN-Viet Nam), Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Viet Nam, is the focal point for the arrangement and coordination of the project management and implementation of the 18^th EAF. ASEAN-Viet Nam functions to advise the Minister of Foreign Affairs on the relations between Viet Nam and ASEAN; and assist the Minister of Foreign Affairs in coordinating the activities of the Ministry in ASEAN related affairs.
