Sookmyung Women’s University established the Asia-Pacific Women’s Information Center (APWINC) in November 1996 to promote information culture and empower women’s digital capacity in the Asia-Pacific region and beyond.
Currently, APWINC works throughout the world based on the Asia-Pacific region, and it has carried out various projects with governments, international organizations, and international NGOs.
Based on gender & ICT and leadership education, APWINC serves as a leading hub for international development and international gender & ICT research and international development through relevant researches, academic works, trainings and national and international networking.
