Attended by representatives of the ASEAN Secretariat, Mission of the ROK to ASEAN and UNDRR ONEA & GETI (United Nations Office for Disaster Risk Reduction - Office in Incheon for Northeast Asia and Global Education and Training Institute for Disaster Risk Reduction), 21 NDMOs (National Disaster Management Organizations) including 6 senior-level Officers from 9 ASEAN Member States participated in the second training programme.

The training curriculum, which reflected the feedback from the participants of the first training programme, provided the trainees with ASEAN-tailored lecture on Disaster Management System, Early Warning System, Recovery System and Public Information.

During the Action Plan Workshop session, trainees shared their observations, experiences and findings of the training programme through group discussion.  Furthermore, in the Country Report session, all trainees developed their countries’ Disaster Risk Management Action Plan and then presented and discussed the action plan with other participants.
